the beach!

Well, my favorite week of the year has come and gone. :(  We had a wonderful time and were blessed with gorgeous weather!  As usual, most of my pictures are of Lucy, but I did get a few of the rest of us! :)

Maymont.

My sister is such a good mom.  She always thinks of fun things to do with Lucy.  A few weeks ago Mom came into town, so Em suggested we take Lucy to the children's farm at Maymont Park.  Although it was hot, super humid, and SOMEONE (ahem...me) got bit on the butt by a fire ant, it was a ton of fun.  Lucy makes just about anything fun.  I'll let you enjoy the pics, and don't worry there isn't one of the ant bite, but it hurt!  Note to self:  ants do NOT like to be sat on.  Oopsies.

This girl is fearless.  She wanted to walk along the bridge by herself.  This is the bridge where the ant bit me. :(
